this is our favorite coffee shop here. it's a block away from our apartment. we love the environment, we love the beverages, and we especially love the owner. he noticed that i was sick one of the days we were visiting and about a half hour after we had finished our beverages, he brought me some hot tea to soothe my cough.
we recently learned that it was the korean valentines day called "pepero day". pepero's are chocolate covered cookies sticks, and everyone gives them to each other on nov. 11- 11/11. so when we were in his shop, he brought us over some chocolates.
in south korea, you don't tip waiters or cab drivers or anyone, but we like to tip him a lot cause we love him.
