we went on a ferry ride in tokyo and got to get a good shot of the tower they are building right now. it is suppose to be the tallest tower in the world when they are finished!
the ferry took us into the city where we got to see several little japanese shops.
one night, we went to an amusement park to see an illumination. basically, they put colorful lights all over the trees, landscape and some rides. it took our breath away, (along with the cold).
on our way to the amusement park, we walked along a small river to the subway stop so that we could see mount fuji. sometimes at dusk when the sun is going down, the mountain has a halo of orange/red around it as if it's about to blow lava.
